Readers' forum: NBA, education outings

The Jazz team outing Saturday night in Memphis, Tenn., was the best team development exercise I have heard about in the NBA.

More emphasis should be put on developing players' life skills, having fun and esprit de corps. Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin deserves an A+ for taking his team on a educational field trip in Memphis. Hopefully they can work this type of education into their busy team schedule. The NBA should put more emphasis on this type of team educational programs.
